I'm Morticia, your friendly neighborhood microbiologist and MLS, and I'm on a mission to spark some love and wonder for the microscopic world all around us.

Which is exactly what led me to making fun, accessible, educational content about science, microbiology, health and misinformation on social media like Tiktok and Instagram.

My professional background includes published, academic research, clinical infection prevention and control, science advising, social media management and of course, clinical microbiology. When I'm not in the lab or the library, you can find me speeding at my local rollerskating rink, chilling with my four cats, watching horror movies or making gross, weird art.
